Age 87 of St Paul, Minnesota 

Passed away on August 25, 2023, on the Feast of Saint Louis. 

Grew up in Little Falls, Minnesota. High school valedictorian. Graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from University of Minnesota. Graduated University of Minnesota Medical School in 1961. Pursued Psychiatry. Served in the Navy at Great Lakes Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, Illinois: 1965 to 1967. Settled in Saint Paul, where he became a sought out and well respected Psychiatrist. Loved sports, bridge, and cribbage, walks with Judith, music, movies, church, and scripture groups. Lived out every stage of life development with gusto, passion, and a forever aura of peace and tranquility. 

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Rosetta. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Judith; children, Colleen (Pierre Rabbia) Daniewicz, Jennifer (Cary) Gearhart, Larry (Tammy), Nick (Barbara), and Timothy (Alan Garza); grandchildren, Joseph, Samuel (Kasi), Aaron (Alley), Benjamin (Marissa), Nicholas (Audrey), and Kevin (Ali); great grandchild, Jett James; as well as many other loving friends, and family.

Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 15, 2023, with visitation 10:00 to 11:00 AM, all at the Church of Saint Peter: 1405 Sibley Memorial Highway, Mendota Heights, MN 55150. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Intrepid Hospice or the Church of St. Peter.
