John Steven Zobel

Zobel, John Steven Jr. age 71.  Passed away on February 17, 2025.  Preceded in death by father, J. Steven Zobel Sr., mother, Jackie Zobel and aunt, Mildred Cory.  John was an active volunteer serving most recently on the Our Lady of Peace Board of Directors.  Previously the President of the St. Paull Winter Carnival and St. Thomas Academy Alumni. He worked tirelessly on the Ice Palaces and belonged to the Fire and Brimstone. John is survived by his wife of 42 years Claire (nee Homan); children, Shawn (Micki) and Natalie; grandson Rudy; sister, MaryBeth (Brian); brothers, Mark (Kari) and Michael.  Dear uncle of Cory (Jennifer) and Alex Hallman, Joey (Mary), Andy and Brett Zobel, Cora Spalding (nee Constans) and Colton Constans.  Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM on Thursday March 6th at Assumption Catholic Church, 51 W. 7th Street, Saint Paul.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.  A special thank you to the Eagan Police Department for their kindness
