Age 70 of Saint Paul 
Passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at home on April 11, 2024. John was born in Saint Paul, MN on December 31, 1953 and was a graduate of St. Thomas Academy and St. Thomas College. John loved his sports but especially his teams; the Green Bay Packers, St Louis Blues and St Louis Cardinals. John was preceded in death by his parents Wilmar and Norma (Coovert), brother Charlie and Mother-in-law Jeanne Lavalle. Survived by beloved wife of almost 43 years, Theresa; son Tom (Allison); his adored grandson James Joshua; and brother Tom. Survived by many friends and family. Feel free to wear any sports attire or colors in his honor. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Wednesday, April 24 at O'Halloran & Murphy Funeral Home (575 So Snelling Ave). A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11am on Thursday, April 25 at St. Stanislaus 398 W Superior. A visitation will begin an hour prior at 10am.
