Joanne L. Renford

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Joanne Lois Renford
(née Johnson), age 88, on November 13, 2025, in Roseville, Minnesota.
Joanne was born on August 11, 1937, in Drayton, ND. She grew up with the values of
warmth, resilience, and devotion that would define her life, and her roots in northern
Minnesota remained close to her heart throughout the years.

She was a loving wife to her late husband, Russell Renford. Together, they built a life
centered around family and shared experiences. Joanne was a devoted mother to her
sons, Michael Renford (Audra) and Dean Renford (Mary Spear). She was a cherished
grandmother to Nathan, Nicholas, Mackenzie, and bonus grandchildren Katie, Kevin,
Jeremiah, and Jacquelynne, who carry forward her legacy of strength and kindness.
Joanne’s presence was a source of comfort and joy to all who knew her. Her warmth
and loving spirit will be profoundly missed.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.

Services:
A Visitation will be held on December 1, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a
Memorial Service and luncheon at Roseville Lutheran Church, 1215 Roselawn Ave West,
Roseville, MN 55113.
An Interment will take place the same day at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 34th
Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450, from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM
