Jeffery "Jeff" George Schindele

Jeffery "Jeff" George Schindele, age 62 of Inver Grove Heights, MN, passed away on July 30, 2025. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Thursday, August 7th at Assumption Catholic Church, 51 7th Street W, St. Paul, MN with a gathering 1 hour prior to Mass. An interment will take place at 1pm on Friday, August 8th at St. Stephen Catholic Cemetery in Stephen, MN with a Celebration of Life to follow at Stephen American Legion in Stephen, MN.

Jeff was born March 29th,1963 in Warren, MN to James and Agnes Schindele of Stephen, MN.  He was baptized and confirmed in St. Stephens Catholic Church. He attended public school in Stephen and went on to earn a BS degree in Business Administration at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND.  Upon graduation Jeff went to work for Cenex Harvest States.  He spent 3 years in Minot, ND in Cenex Harvest States managerial training program and then moved to Michigan, ND became manager of the Cenex station at Michigan.  After 5 years in Michigan, ND, he was offered a position at the Cooperative headquarters of Cenex Harvest States in Inver Grove Heights, MN where he spent the next 22 years. In 2017 Jeff retired from what is now CHS and began his own business consulting service, Schindele Enterprises.

Jeff was an avid sports fan and would attend many different sporting events, whether it was a bus trip, an airplane trip or an automobile road trip. He also loved to hunt and fish with family and friends.  In recent years, he spent summers at Buffalo Bay where he made many close friends.  He never missed the fall deer camp trip with his family.  Jeff was never a person to let grass grow under his feet.

Jeff had a generous heart and would always lend a hand to friends and family. Whether it was a community event or a friend in need, he was always there. If you ever met Jeff, he was hard to forget and he never forgot a name or face.  Jeff was a man of faith and his family was important to him. Jeff will be missed by all who knew him.

Jeff is survived by his parents James and Agnes Schindele, Stephen, MN; his siblings, Jay (Trish) Schindele, Devils Lake, ND;  Doug (Jane) Schindele, Stephen, MN;  Dan (Phyllis) Schindele, Park River, ND;  Mary (Jeff) Chwialkowski, Argyle, MN;  Deb (Brent) Diemer, Castle Rock, CO.  He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
