Jean Ann (née Trapp) Callahan

Jean Callahan (née Trapp) passed away on May 25, 2022.  Beloved spouse, mother, and grandmother.
Preceded in death by her parents Hugo and Ann Trapp; brothers Jim and Jon. Married to Jim for 56 years. Mother to three, Tim of Charleston, South Carolina, Kate (Ted) Long of Cottage Grove and Molly VandeLogt of Cottage Grove, Minnesota.  Six wonderful and vibrant/dynamic grandchildren, James, Tadg, Michael, Elizabeth, Maeve, and River. Jean was a fashionable person and worked for many years in the fashion retail area. She will be missed by family and friends. Visitation 5-7pm Tuesday, May 31 at O’HALLORAN & MURPHY, 575 Snelling Ave. S., St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial 10am Wednesday, June 1 at CHURCH OF THE ASSUMPTION, 51 W. 7th St., St. Paul, with visitation one hour prior to mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or donor’s choice.
