James J. Prifrel Jr.

Jim Prifrel Jr., age 71, passed away on August 14 after a long and courageous battle with multiple myeloma. Jim cared for his mom and dad with unwavering love and now joins them in eternal rest. He is survived by his five siblings, along with many cherished family members and friends.

Known affectionately as “Uncle Buck,” Jim brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. Famous for his Reader’s Digest jokes, he was the family cameraman, a beloved Santa at Christmas, and an avid fisherman.

The family extends a special thanks to the staff at Polar Ridge Senior Living Facility, especially Danielle and Nurse Kay, for their exceptional care and kindness.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 19, at 10:30 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, at Maternity of Mary Catholic Church, 1414 Dale Street North, St. Paul, MN 55117.
