Remembering Baby Freya Starr Marie Platt 

It is with deepest love and profound sadness that we share the birth and passing of our beloved baby, Freya Starr Marie Platt, who was born sleeping on November 8, 2025, at home. Freya is cherished by her parents, Heather and Richard, and forever loved.  

Though Freya was with us for only a brief moment, she filled our hearts with a lifetime of love. Throughout the pregnancy Richard and Heather were there for each other, and the love they shared was deeply rooted in Freya.  She will be playing in the heavens with her big brother Dominic and Papa Zack.

While their time with us was heartbreakingly short, the impact Freya made on our lives is immeasurable. She will always be a part of our family, carried gently in our hearts with every step we take. Her memory is a reminder of the purest love and the fragility and beauty of life. 

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, at O’Halloran & Murphy Funeral Chapel on Snelling Avenue from 2pm-4pm, where we will honor and celebrate Freya’s brief but meaningful life.  

We may never understand why Freya could not stay, but we will forever treasure the moments we held her in our hearts.
