On Tuesday, January 12, 2021, Frank G. Hurley of St. Paul, MN passed away at age 86 after a short illness.

Frank was born on October 31, 1934 in St. Paul to Frank and Mary (Mindrum) Hurley. He attended St. Luke’s grade school, St. Thomas Academy for high school, attended Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and spent two years in the United States Army. Frank married Mary (Molly) Conley of Winnetka, IL on June 20, 1964. They lived in New York and outside of Boston, MA in their early years of marriage, before moving to St. Paul where they spent the remainder of their lives together. Frank worked as a stockbroker for over 50 years, in New York City and in the Twin Cities.

Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Molly, and brother Bill, and is survived by his three children Frank Jr. (Dara Oken), Jamie, and Nell (William Moyers), five grandsons, Nathan, Emmet, Jasper, Noah, and Eli, and four sisters, Mimi Boo, Ann Dougherty, Alice Dickinson, and Susan Bennett, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was also beloved by William’s three children, Nancy, Thomas, and Henry.

A funeral mass will be held at the Basilica of St. Mary in Minneapolis in the summer of 2021. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to St. Thomas Academy.
