Vik, Evelyn Albertina (nee Pribnow)

Age 89, of St. Paul (St. Anthony Park) passed away on December 29, 2020. Born September 4, 1931, in Cottage Grove, MN, where she grew up on a dairy farm. Preceded in death by husband of 53 years, Victor Roger Vik; parents, August and Emma Pribnow; twin sister, Lois Stenson; brothers-in-law, Bud Stenson and Bob Hildebrandt. Survived by children Cindy Thrasher (Blaine), David Vik, Jeffrey Vik (Lisa), and Rhonda Morrison (David); grandchildren Megan, Drew and Ryan Thrasher, Austin, Nathan and Keaton Vik, and Kathleen Morrison; sister, Irene Hildebrandt, brother, Leroy Pribnow (Bobbi); and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Evie was a dedicated wife and mother. Her interest in the activities of her children, grandchildren, extended family and friends was always present throughout her life. She enjoyed gardening, quilting at church, and attending the Minnesota State Fair.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021, at 11:00 am CST at https://www.saplc.org/Church-At-Home- with a Zoom social gathering following the service. If you wish to provide flowers, please send them to the church by Wednesday, January 6. Memorials preferred to St. Anthony Park Lutheran Church, 2323 Como Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55108. Private interment.
