Eleanor Keegan (Majerus) Morson
Eleanor Keegan Morson said goodnight for the last time on November 18, 2021. She was a beautiful woman that aged gracefully over her 99 years.
Eleanor grew up on a farm in Belchester, MN. At 18 she moved to the cities to work at St Joseph's hospital. While working in a doctor’s office she met her husband of 42 years. Together they raised three children and operated King Henry's restaurant on West 7th street in St Paul. Eleanor loved playing bridge where she met many close friends including her second husband. They enjoyed life together for 14 years. Additionally, she enjoyed knitting, sewing, needlework, cooking and baking. She was an active volunteer at St Peter's church and worked with "Befrienders". She will always be remembered for her "Eleanorisms": "I do my best and leave the rest"; "these golden years aren't what they're cracked up to be"; "as brother John would say same old, same old"; "I'm here"; "she's a doer"; and many more.
Eleanor was preceded in death by Stephen Majerus (father), Katherine Schweich (mother), Leonard Majerus (brother), Lucille Befort (sister), Kenneth Keegan (husband), and Jerome Morson (husband). Survived by son, John Keegan (Sandy), daughters Jo Broussard (Stephen), Jean Ryan (Mike), 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 16 at St Peter's Historical Church (1405 Sibley Memorial Highway, St Paul). Visitation one hour prior to start of service in the church. Burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorial preferred to be sent to the Alzheimer's Association to help cure that horrible disease.
