Elaine K. (Kondziella) Marty

Marty, Elaine K. (Kondziella) age 97 of St. Paul, passed away surrounded by her loving family on April 6, 2026. She is preceded in death by her husband, James; parents, Joe and Elizabeth Kondziella and siblings, Phyllis, Jim and Tom. Elaine is survived by her 4 loving children, Mary Roy, Robert (Sue), Jeanne Barrett and John (Julie); 11 grandchildren, Alissa, John (Elizabeth), Elizabeth, Ryan, Shannon (Nick), Robb Jr., Charlie (Danielle), Dan (Kelly), Maija, Katherine and Sarah; 8 great grandchildren whom she adored; and many special friends.

Elaine was a devout Catholic whose faith was the center of her life. She lovingly raised her family, worked at the St. Paul Seminary for 10 years, enjoyed travelling, playing cards, knitting and spending time with family at home and at the cabin. Being a mother and grandmother was truly her greatest joy in life. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday April 14th at 10:30am at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 1938 Stanford Ave. S., St. Paul, MN 55105. Visitation one hour prior to the mass at church. Interment Calvary Cemetery. The family is grateful for the staff at Our Lady of Peace who provided loving, attentive care to Elaine. In lieu of flowers, contributions are preferred to Our Lady of Peace Hospice in St. Paul, MN.
