Earl Russell Jagger, of Roseville passed away November 25, 2022. A visitation will be held on Thursday January 12, 2023 from 11:30am to 12:30pm along with a memorial service from 12:30 to 1:00pm at O'HALLORAN & MURPHY 575 Snelling Ave. S., St. Paul, MN 55116. A private interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery to immediately follow. Earl was born to Ella and Russell Jagger on March 7, 1927 in St. Paul, Minnesota. After graduation from Washington HS he volunteered for service in WWII in the United States Army Air Forces and was sent to Okinawa. When Earl came back home to St. Paul he graduated with a BA from Macalester College. He lived in several cities working for one life insurance company throughout his career. Earl was married to Margaret (Peggy) Jagger for over seventy years.
Earl had many interests but his passion was spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. A seasonal cabin in Northern Minnesota was a special place that was enjoyed by generations of his family. He was a member of Our Savior Ev Lutheran Church in Sun City, AZ and New Life Lutheran Church, Shoreview, MN.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Peggy and grandson, Grant. He is survived by his children David (Sandra), Keith (Christine), Nancy (Joseph), Norman (Beth), Karl (Susan); his grandchildren, Jeremy, Jacob (Amanda), Matthew, Benjamin (Marissa), Erik (Maria), Kelsey, Megan, Jenna, Garrett, Laura, Luke, Sarah (Christopher); and his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Gracyn, Hadley, Bexley, Fernando and Lake. Rest peacefully Earl, we miss you.
