Dolores (Haen) Odland

Odland, Dolores age 94 of St. Paul died on January 3, 2025.  Survived by many nieces and nephews and preceded in death by husband, Bjarne Odland; son, Gregory Odland; parents, Henry and Lucy Haen; brothers, Adrian, Marvin, Gilbert and Owen, and sisters, Bernice (Ernest) Dudek and Joan (Donald) Loskota.  She was raised in Renville, MN and graduated from RHS in 1948.  She worked for a time at the Willmar Clinic, then the Renville Insurance Agency and a variety of offices, eventually landing at the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul.  She worked there for 24 years until retiring in 1995.  She married Bjarne Odland and enjoyed 63 years of married life before he passed away in 2018. Gregory died in 2019.  Dolores had many hobbies and loved to spend time playing the organ, cross-stitching, reading, gardening, baking requested treats and traveling. She and Bjarne never missed a family graduation, wedding or special occasion.  her priorities were always her family and loved ones.  She was a caring and compassionate neighbor, friend and coworker.  Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Friday, August 22, at Nativity of Our Oord Catholic Church (324 S. Prior Ave., St. Paul,  Visitation one hour prior to the mass at church.  Private family interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
