Debra "Debbie" Rose (neè Muehler) Wold, age 69, was called home to heaven on September 6, 2025, after a valiant fight against melanoma. There will be a visitation on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at O’Halloran & Murphy Funeral Home of Woodbury from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be at Woodbury Lutheran Church in Woodbury, Minnesota on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with a visitation starting one hour prior at 1:00 p.m. Out of town family and friends who are unable to make it to the service are encouraged to join online for the live stream service at funeral.wlc.church. A private burial will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been placed in the care of O’Halloran & Murphy of Woodbury.
Born on November 25,1955, in Breckenridge MN and raised in Wahpeton ND, Debbie will be remembered for her generosity and unwavering love of family. Her greatest pride was always her children and grandchildren, whom she fiercely loved and supported. No one doubted Debbie’s feelings for them, as she was always underlining the words in cards to emphasize her love. Debbie loved a good laugh, her beautiful, sparkling, usually holiday-coordinated fingernails and a cold crisp Diet Coke.
She was known for her love of bringing people together. Holidays or any opportunity to gather with family were her favorite times, when she could host, cook, and fill her home with laughter and joy. She also enjoyed playing card games and she never missed the chance to cheer on her beloved Minnesota Twins. Time at the lake in the summer was something she enjoyed, bringing her peace and an opportunity to unwind.
Her dedication to children shone through her remarkable 48-year career as a daycare provider, where she cared for so many children - almost becoming like one of the family for many of her daycare families. In recent years, she continued to serve children once she had moved to the Twin Cities by working with Schmitty & Sons, assisting with school transportation.
Debbie is survived by her mother, Bernadine Muehler, Wahpeton, ND, her siblings, Karen (Dan) McCann, Wahpeton, ND, Kevin (Judy) Muehler, West Fargo, ND, Tim (Terri) Muehler, Wadena, MN, and Scott (Susan) Muehler, Rogers, MN; her children, Ryan (Sena) Dahl, Inver Grove Heights, MN, Misty (Chad) Reisner, Chaska, MN, Kenny (Melissa) Wold, Fargo, ND and Michael (Marysa) Wold, Hastings, MN, 12 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her dear father Delmer Muehler and her beloved grandson, Oliver Wold.
