Deborah Jean Hayden, Shoreview, MN 4/2/1952-7/13/2025
Deb Hayden, who loved you even if you just met, died peacefully on July 13, 2025 of kidney failure.
Deb was born in 1952 and grew up in West Saint Paul, MN. She married Eddie in 1973 and shortly thereafter moved to Cottage Grove where they raised their three girls, an extraordinary number of bonus children, and made life-long friends.
Preceded in death by her husband John (Eddie) Hayden and parents Bonnie and George Doeren she is survived by daughters Sarah (Ryan) McNally, Lindsey Hayden, Carol Hayden (Leslie Harper), absolutely beloved grandsons Elliot and Andrew, siblings Lynn (Bruce) Mears, Randy (Kim) Doeren, nieces and nephews, cousins, and so many amazing friends.
Deb loved tenaciously and was cherished in return. Her unmatched generosity meant there was always room for one more in her heart and at her table. She frequently presented a little gift, beautifully wrapped, that made her think of you; or perhaps she saved you a book, made you a craft, or picked up a care package for your new grandbaby. Though she physically slowed down the last few years her delight in others never flagged.
We were so lucky to be her kids and will always be thankful to carry her love and generosity forward and into the world.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025. Visiting hour from 10:00-11:00am with service at 11:00 and luncheon to follow at O’Halloran & Murphy, 575 Selling Avenue St. Paul MN 55116.
