Connie passed away peacefully on February 18th, 2026, in St. Paul surrounded by her family. Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin and Friend. Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years William; son Dennis, parents Theodore Sr. and Claire Collins, Aunt Alice Caroline (Tony), brothers Theodore Collins Jr. (Mary Joan), Paul Collins (Betty), sister Rosemary Oehlers (Kenneth). Survived by her children William, daughter-in-law Tina, Michael, John (Connie), Terrence (Sheryl), Catherine, Ann, Robert (Jacqueline), Patrick (Bridget), Margaret, Thomas, Rosemary, James (Maria), Colleen Meyer (Ryan), and Maureen Nelson. Grandchildren Nicholas, Abigail Glancy (Brian), Thomas (Marcella), Christina Ness (Brian), Erin Latuff (Robert), Jack, Timothy, Claire, Wilma, William, Mary, Collin Nelson, Caitlyn Nelson, Rebecca Nelson, Emma Nelson, Daniel Meyer. Great grandchildren Morgan, Harley, Becket, James, Evelyn, Ronan and Jackson. Sister-in-law Jean Dick. Many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Connie was a proud graduate of Our Lady of Peace (Class of 1955); she enjoyed many years of laughter and tears with her classmates. She was active at St. Mark’s School and Church for many years from positions on the church board, rummage sales, Council of Catholic Women, Cub Scout leader and many more. Connie enjoyed summers at the lake, traveling with family and friends, creating memories in Florida over many years and many generations of family and Irish celebrations. Her children and grandchildren have fond memories of games and hijinks during weekends at the lake or during long winter weekends. Everyone was welcomed at her house, at her table and her parties, from lifelong friends to friends of her children. She brought joy, smiles, and memories to many over the years. 

Connie donated her body to research at the U of M, there will be a Memorial Mass at Church of the Assumption, 51 West 7th Street, St. Paul, MN on Friday, March 20th, 2026, at 10:00 AM.  Visitation starts at 9:00 AM. Live streaming information at -https://watchitlivestream.com/c-hoye or www.assumptionsp.org. Donations are preferred to Catholic Youth Camp (CYC Camp) www.cycamp.org 2233 Hamline Ave., Suite B1, Roseville, Mn 55113. Private burial at Fort Snelling at a later date.
