Clement “Clem” Kurhajetz Jr., age 76 of Falcon Heights, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 4, 2025.
Clem grew up in Saint Paul, MN, and graduated from Monroe High School. He attended Dakota County Vocational Institute (now DCTC) and spent his career with the underground crew at NSP, later Xcel Energy. A dedicated member of the Falcon Heights Volunteer Fire Department, he rose to chief. Clem enjoyed family time up north, watching John Wayne movies with his dogs, and coffee with friends at the fire station. His unique, sarcastic sense of humor will be greatly missed by those who knew him well.
Clem was preceded in death by his parents, Lorraine and Clement Sr.; and brother, Charlie.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Janice; children, Emily (Stephen) Kane and Benjamin (Leah Skrivseth); sister, Sharon Lindstrom; grandchildren, Robert, Daniel, and William; as well as many other loving friends and family.
A gathering of family and friends will be held 1:00 – 3:00 PM Saturday, January 25th, 2025 with a sharing of memories at 2:00 PM at Roseville Memorial Chapel, 2245 Hamline Ave. N, Roseville MN.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Animal Humane Society.
