Claire Wisdorf

Claire C. Wisdorf, age 87, of Little Canada, MN passed away on September 19, 2025, at Cardigan Ridge assisted living Care Center in Little Canada, MN. Claire was born October 13, 1937 in Fulda, MN. She entered the Rochester, MN order of Franciscans after graduating high school and remained in the order for 17 years. She continued in her elementary school teaching and school counseling career in the Chicago, Illinois area until retirement. After retirement Claire moved back to Minnesota to be closer to family.

Claire was preceded in death by her parents; Jack and Margaret Wisdorf; her brothers, Robert, Leo, and Jerry; her sister, Jeanette Manning (John) ; her brother-in-law, John Manning; sister-in-law, JoAnn Wisdorf, and nephews Terry Wisdorf and Alan Wisdorf.

Claire is survived by her brother, John (Little Canada, MN) and Gene (Chaska), and sister, Margaret Gurucharri (Tom) Louisville, Ky; nieces, Lisa Wisdorf, Kim Houtkooper, Kelly Scanlan, Colleen White; nephews, Jeff Wisdorf and Brian Wisdorf.

Funeral service 10:30AM, Tuesday, Sept. 23, at Roseville Memorial Chapel (2245 Hamline Ave N., Roseville MN). Visitation beginning at 9:30 AM until start of service at funeral home Tuesday. Interment will be at St. Gabriel Cemetery, MN. at a later date.
