Carole Jeanne Yoswa, born April 12, 1945, in St. Paul, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025, at her residence. A supportive and loving mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother, she enjoyed making everyone laugh and valued family more than anything, lighting up every room she was in.
Survived by sons William (Joan) and Robert (Popeye); brothers Dick (Marea) and Jim (Jan); grandchildren Haley and Carson; nieces Terry and Julie; nephews Tom, Joe, Bob, and Matt; and her adored extended family.
Preceded in death by parents Frank and Evelyn, and niece Jill.
A 1963 graduate of Our Lady of Peace in St. Paul, Carole worked at the St. Paul Police Department from 1973 to 2007 (33.9 years) where she enjoyed being the “queen”, and where she made many dear and lifelong friends. After retiring, she worked at Highland National Golf Course for many years. She was an avid golfer and Minnesota sports enthusiast.
A visitation will be held at O’Halloran and Murphy (575 So Snelling Ave, St. Paul, MN) on October 8 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The funeral service will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church (1079 Summit Ave, St. Paul, MN) on October 9 (9:00am gathering, 10:00am mass, 11:00am luncheon, 12:30pm burial at Resurrection Cemetery).
