It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Carol Lee Hannasch, age 62 of Big Lake. Carol passed away on March 23, 2025. She was born in St. Paul and attended Holy Spirit Grade School, graduated from Rosemount High School. Preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lora; brother, Greg and several pets. Survived by birth son, Andrew, Angela; siblings, Roxanne Meshar, Barbara (Paul) Morin, Leonard (Betsy), Rosemarie (Lee) Valencour, and Joanie; sister-in-law, Jackie and many nieces and nephews and special dog, Casey.
She worked at Northrup Grumman for over 30 years in the finance/payroll department. She enjoyed traveling, particularly taking cruises. Her travels took her to Alaska, the Caribbean, Mediterranean and Puerto Rico. She also enjoyed drawing, crafting with her friends, and loved her many dogs.
Carol was known for her kind, loving, caring, and humorous personality. Although Carol is gone, she will live in our hearts forever.
Memorial service will be Thursday, April 3, 11 AM at the O’Halloran & Murphy Chapel, 575 Snelling Ave So., St. Paul, with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society. The family would like to extend their thanks to the North Memorial Hospital staff for the care they provided to Carol.
