Elizabeth “Betty” Fitzsimmons née Noesen
Age 96 of Roseville
Our beloved mother passed away peacefully at home on November 4, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John “Bud” Fitzsimmons;  her parents, Louis and Teresa Noesen, and seven siblings. She is survived by her eight children, Laura, Jack (Cindy), Mark, Seamus, Terri (Tom) Houck, Tom, Mike and Shannon (Dave) Fladebo; eight grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 
Betty grew up in Crookston, MN.  She married Bud and they moved to St. Paul, where she raised her children.  She was active for many years in her church and was a mainstay in the Roseville Parks and Recreation Department for over 30 years, beginning there when Roseville was a village. She enjoyed her friends and neighbors, loved dancing, playing cards, reading, game shows and jig saw puzzles. She will be very much missed. 
The family wishes to extend thanks to HealthPartners Hospice for their wonderful care of our mother.
Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, December 7 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation at 9:00 a.m. St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 2048 Hamline Ave. N. Roseville, MN. Mass will be livestreamed, https://saintroseoflima.net/livestream  Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
