Barbara Ann (nee Nelson) Keenan

Age 85, Of St Paul

Passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022

Preceded in death by parents, Ann and Myron Nelson; brother, Charles Nelson; stepmother, Helen Nelson; husband, Robert Keenan, Jr. Survived by daughters, Audrey (Warren) Brown, Stephanie (Randy) Thesing; son, Brian (Christine) Keenan; brothers, Paul (Robin) Nelson, Myron (Flo) Nelson; six grandchildren, and many cousins and friends. Barb graduated from the College of St. Catherine’s with a nursing degree. She worked as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She also worked as a nurse in Seattle, WA. She loved to sing and was active with the Schola, funeral singing group, at Nativity. She was proud of her German and Swedish Heritage. A lifelong Catholic devoted to her great faith in God.

Mass Of Christian Burial will be at 10:30am, Monday, December 12th at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church (at Prior and Stanford Aves.) with a visitation 1 hour prior to Mass. Interment will be at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
